A wind- and water-repellent pant inspired by a legend

Designed for maximized protection and optimum comfort, and patterned for full mobility during extreme and extended alpine use. Named after Italian climbing legend Emilio Comici, maybe one of the greatest climbers of all time, the Comici pant combines our proprietary Stormwall fabric with AlpineWool® for additional insulation in a bodymapped construction.

Hybrid construction

Stormwall is a stretch softshell fabric that has a windproof membrane and PFC-free water-repellent impregnation. Built with comfort in mind, it allows moisture vapour to escape easily to the outside, keeping you warm and dry. And its elastane content enables good freedom of movement when moving quickly on technical terrain. For additional insulation at the seat and upper thighs, we build in mélange knit AlpineWool® panels made with wool sourced from sheep who live in high-alpine conditions and polyester yarns.

Ergonomic, alpine fit

All seams are double-stitched for additional strength. The two low-profile leg pockets are easy to access and lay flat when not in use and there’s also an extra patch cargo pocket. Side venting allows on-the-move temperature regulation to keep things fresh and comfortable. The tailored lower leg with zips and lacehooks ensures a close fit over boots and keeps the cuffs secure, minimizing the risk of crampon snags. Cordura®-reinforced kick patches provide additional protection from cuts and abrasion. And internal gaiters prevent snow ingress.
